The International Forum "Pure Water - 2010", 20

The second international forum Pure Water 2010 is to be held in Moscow at Expocenter (14 Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment) from October 20 to 24, 2010. The forum subject is Water as a global resource for development.

The Forum venue is Hall No. 8 (Rooms 2, 3). The Forum Organizer is Rossiyskoe Vodnoe Obschestvo (Russian Water Assosiation) Non-profit Partnership appointed for the role by the Russian Federation Government Resolution No. 1250-r dated July 26, 2010.

The Forum aims to be an umbrella for all water industry enterprises of Russia to bring in line actions for water resources conservation and provision of pure water for Russian Federation communities as well as to inform global community about Russia sound attitude towards water protection and water management.

The Forum is a perfect place for Russian and foreign companies to start beneficial co-operation in terms of water supply and water saving. State-of-the-art solutions aimed at development of partnership and settlement of Russian and global water issues are to be presented as a part of the Forum exhibition program.

The scale of the forthcoming forum is a way to draw public attention to pure water issues, to stir the issues among the public and to aim efforts towards development of solicitous attitude to water and natural resources in broader terms along with care for environmental safety, understanding of personal contributions by everyone into a major value of the present and future time such as water.

The background moving Russian water industry towards leading positions is plentiful reserves of this valuable resource and leading-edge water technologies, which shall demonstrate attractiveness of the Russia water industry for investors during the Forum.

The newly-developed leading-edge water-industry technologies to be demonstrated as a part of the Forum exhibition program shall be of practical importance for implementation of the Forum tasks.

The events of the Forum business program will discuss science, engineering and organizational factors of the water industry development along with regulatory issues, tax and customs duty exemptions for operations investing into state-of-the-art water and environmental protection technologies as well as financial regulatory arrangements relevant to water disposal and effluent treatment. As a result of the Forum activities some proposals shall be produced and submitted to the duly constituted authorities.

The Forum business program includes plenary meetings and round table discussions.

It is expected that the Forum will pave the way towards cutting-edge, cost effective and, at the same time, responding to social needs water industry of Russia.
